StepFill Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
StepFill ("the app") is developed by Yusuke Morishita ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles your information. The short version: StepFill does not collect any data about you.
No data collection
StepFill has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. It makes no network connections of any kind. Nothing you enter is sent to us or to anyone else, because the app has no server to send it to.
Apple Health (HealthKit)
The purpose of StepFill is to let you add step counts to Apple Health and review or edit the entries you have saved.
- StepFill requests permission to write step data to Apple Health (to add, edit, and delete entries) and to read your step data. Reading is used only on your device, to show your step history and to let you edit or delete the entries StepFill saved.
- The step counts and dates you enter are saved to Apple Health on your device by the operating system. This data is stored and protected by Apple Health, not by us, and it stays on your device (subject to your own iCloud and Health settings, which we do not control).
- Your step data is read only on your device and is never transmitted, sold, or shared. We (the developer) never receive it. It is never used for advertising or marketing.
- You can review or delete anything StepFill has written at any time in the Health app: Browse > Activity > Steps > Show All Data.
Data we store about you
None. StepFill keeps no profile, identifiers, or usage records.
Children's privacy
StepFill does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
