StepFill Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of StepFill ("the app"), developed by Yusuke Morishita ("we", "us"). By downloading or using StepFill, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The service

StepFill lets you add step counts to Apple Health for the dates and times you choose, and review, edit, or delete the entries you have saved. It is a personal record-keeping tool.

2. Apple Health permissions

StepFill works by writing to and reading from Apple Health (HealthKit), so it requires a device that supports HealthKit and your permission to access your step data. You can change or revoke this permission at any time in the Health app or in iOS Settings. Without it, the app cannot add or display your steps.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

StepFill is free to download, and viewing your saved step history is always free. Adding, editing, and deleting step entries is a premium feature.

• A free trial may be offered. When the trial ends, premium features require a purchase or an active subscription.
• Premium is available as a one-time Lifetime purchase or as an auto-renewing Monthly or Yearly subscription. The current options and prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings (Settings > your name > Subscriptions). A Lifetime purchase is one-time and does not renew.
• All payments, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. We do not process or receive your payment details.

4. No medical advice

StepFill is not a medical device and does not provide medical, health, or fitness advice. The step data you record is for your own personal use; do not rely on the app for any medical purpose. The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Apple Health features will always be available.

5. Your data

The steps you add are stored in Apple Health on your device, not by us. They belong to you, and you can review or delete anything StepFill has written at any time in the Health app. StepFill collects no data about you — see our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use StepFill only for lawful, personal purposes, and not to misuse it, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or interfere with its operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) StepFill. Your Apple Health data remains your responsibility and can be backed up or removed through Apple's Health and iCloud features.

8. Changes

We may update the app or these Terms from time to time. If we change these Terms, we will update the date above and post the new version at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
